2017 Rotary Club Essay Competition

As always, Year 6 have entered the annual competition held by the Hertford Shires Rotary Club. We compete with other schools in the area to write an essay entitled ‘What I want to be when I am older and why’. At only approximately three hundred words, we worked really hard to keep to the word count, whilst still engaging the reader. Congratulations to all of Year 6 for the high quality of their entries, Callum, Holly and Jasmine for reaching the finals and to Callum as overall school winner. We are also pleased to see that Callum was runner up in the whole competition, showing the high standard of Wheatcroft Year 6 writing in comparison with other local schools. Well done to all!
