Rotary Essay Competition

As always, Year 6 have entered the annual competition held by the Hertford Shires Rotary Club. We compete with other schools in the area to write an essay entitled ‘What I want to be when I am older and why’. At only approximately three hundred words, we worked really hard to keep to the word count, whilst still engaging the reader. Congratulations to all of Year 6 for the high quality of their entries, Matthew, Becky and Faye for reaching the finals and to Faye as overall school winner. We are pleased to see that Becky was recognised as fourth in the overall competition and Faye as second, showing the high standard of our children’s writing across the cohort. Well done to all!
