LKS2 Trip to Hertford Museum

LKS2 visited Hertford Museum to find out all about life in Hertford during WW2. We got to look first hand at real objects people used, as well as finding out about some of the people that lived in Hertford at the time. We focussed on four different parts of the war; rationing, air raids, the women’s land army and evacuation. It was very interesting to see what life was like for people then. We then journeyed over to Mill Bridge to see where a bomb had hit and we learnt about different types of bombs. After some questions it was time to journey back to the museum and enjoy our walk back to school.
