This month we have really enjoyed learning about and celebrating Christmas. We have listened to lots of Christmas stories including Dear Santa and The Jolly Postman. In RE we have looked at all the different visitors that came to the stable and listened to traditional carols about them and learnt about the gifts they brought with them. We thought about the gifts we would give a new baby too.
We really enjoyed rehearsing and performing our Nativity play A Wriggly Nativity, learning the songs, lines and acting on the stage.
We had a really fun time at our first decorations day mixing up in groups with the rest of the school, and making lots of Christmas decorations and cards. Our Christmas lunch was really delicious and we enjoyed wearing the hats we had made.
We are really looking forward to continuing our fun adventure in Reception in 2023. Happy new Year!
