What another busy month in Year 6! Despite the festivities and the snow, we still have managed to complete lots of work and to achieve a lot. We began the month with Decorations Day and enjoyed being able to mix up into groups across the classes again; in the afternoon, we made our origami Christmas cards and helped the PTFA set up for the Christmas Fayre – thanks to everyone who came to support this.
We have also enjoyed rocket day and Mars Rover day where we carefully considered existing versions of our product before designing, building and then testing our own – what a lot of fun that was!
In French, we have been learning how colours and adjectives change when describing objects; we designed our own festive jumpers to practise this.
Finally, we also made some time to play out in the snow.
We wish you all a Merry Christmas and a fabulous start to 2023.
