English – This month we have been looking at the story ’15 Things Not to do with a Puppy’. We wrote our ideas of what would happen if we brought an animal to school. We also used the contractions don’t, shouldn’t and wouldn’t to help us write about what you should not do around school.
As well as this we looked at how to add the suffix –er and –est to help us when comparing.
In Maths we used our knowledge of adding to help use solve a problem and create different scores. We also looked at how to double and halve and thought about how they were the inverse (opposite) of each other.
In Science we have been exploring different habitats and the animals you might find there. We also thought about how to sort animals on a Venn diagram based on what they ate (omnivore, carnivore and herbivore).
