We are back with a bang!
As always, Year 6 have entered the annual competition held by the Hertford Shires Rotary Club. We compete with other schools in the area to write an essay entitled ‘What I want to be when I am older and why’. At only approximately three hundred words, we worked really hard to keep to the word count, whilst still engaging the reader. Here are some of the entries from the children this time around; we look forward to the finals, which will be held next term.
Aside from our essays, it has been delightful to start our German sessions again. We have been revising how to use a bilingual dictionary and have been doing some basic translation work. Wunderbar!
