This month in Year 4 we have been lucky enough to take part in the SHINE workshop. It has taught us all about how to recognise our strengths and unique, special qualities! We wrote compliments to our friend, added our strength leaves to a positivity tree and created our own unique coat of arms.
In music we have been recognising notes and their different pitch. We had a go at boom whacker karaoke and played a great rendition of ‘The lion sleeps tonight.
In maths we have been reviewing our knowledge of 2D shapes and their properties. We played shape sort and compared two different 2D shapes by using the correct mathematical vocabulary.
