Yet another busy month in Year 6! In a month of secondary school visits, play preparation (and even some work!) the highlight has surely been our trip to Norfolk. We enjoyed a brilliant week at Manor Adventure, Norfolk Lakes where we took part in a huge range of activities: raft building, rifles, archery, blind trail, stand up paddle board and kayaking to name but a few. Everyone had a great time and improved both their organisation and independence skills.
Back in the classroom, we have been getting ready for our upcoming production of Superstan and can’t wait for you to see it next month; as well as this, we have enjoyed preparing for the Wheatcroft Summer Festival and preparing our stalls – we can’t wait to see who raises the most money!
We have also been fortunate to work with many secondary schools this term. Simon Balle’s Year 12 students and staff came to deliver an e-safety workshop for us which really made us think and the whole school was treated to PE for Sports Week (thanks to Mrs Woodier for organising!) by Richard Hale and Presdales students as well as a special baton relay.
