In Maths, we have been exploring fractions. We first looked at halves, then quarters and finally thirds. We are now able to find fractions of amounts and we used our multiplication knowledge to help us.
In English, we have been focusing on the book ‘Monsters: Owners Guide’. We looked at how the monster comes to life in the story and how we could use this to create our own versions. We created an instructional booklet on how to look after our own monsters.
At the end of this month, we celebrated Rainforest Day. To conclude our rainforest unit, we worked together to create our own rainforests using cardboard boxes. We created the different layers and put them together to create a full rainforest habitat.
