It has been a really enjoyable month in Year 3-4. We have carried on enjoying our picture books in English and have moved on to looking at ‘The King Who Banned the Dark’. We have also been looking at multiplication and arrays in Maths.
In Science, we have been looking at different animals and their habitats. We first used an online tool to help us create a branching database to sort vertebrates. We then took our learning outside to investigate invertebrates, completing an invertebrate hunt. We then chose one to investigate and wrote a fact sheet about them.
We also began to get in the festive mood this month, creating a Christmas card for the Military Competition. We explored the different roles people in the military had and thought about what we may want to draw for our cards. Some of us even got to send these out to be displayed at different military bases.
