We have really enjoyed our topic of Night and day this month. We have read Aliens love underpants, Funnybones, Whatever Next and How to Catch a Star.
We had a talk all about the human body and enjoyed making skeleton pictures. We have been really interested in Space and learning about the planets and we got the chance to visit the planetarium when it came into school.
The librarian came to talk to us about how we can all join the library and read us some really funny stories.
We have been learning about the seasonal changes in forest school as well as looking for different sized leaves and sticks. We had a really exciting adventure when we all came back to school in the evening and had a big bonfire in forest school, sang songs and had hot chocolate and toasted marshmallows.
We have been busy preparing for our Nativity and having great fun learning all the songs we will be singing.
In maths we have been sorting objects into groups, comparing lengths and counting and writing numbers.
We love our daily Supersonic Phonic lessons and have learnt lots of new sounds that we are using in our writing.
