Nursery Admissions

For Nursery admissions you need to apply directly via school.

The Nursery at Wheatcroft usually takes around 30 children in the morning session (8:45am-11:45am) and 20 in the afternoon (12:30pm-3:30pm), although this does depend on circumstances. It is housed in a bright, purpose built area attached to the main school and with its own outside area. The children also regularly have lessons in our Forest School. For more information please read our Nursery Admissions Policy (below).

We can only offer full day sessions to pupils who qualify for 30 hour provision on the Government free childcare scheme ( We cannot guarantee that we can offer everyone that applies either the 15 hours or 30 hours childcare if eligible but we will attempt to meet your needs.
