This month, we’ve been reading different traditional tales and learning about story structure. After reading the story Little Red Hen we made our own bread in class. We helped weigh out the ingredients, mix it and knead the dough. The best part was eating the bread at snack time!
We enjoyed retelling the story of Little Red Riding Hood in our Forest School area. We used positional language to say where the different characters were.
After reading The Elves and the Shoe maker, we discussed and wrote about what happened at the beginning, middle and end of the story. We also had fun designing our own shoes.
