To begin the year we have been focussing our maths skills on place value of 3-digit numbers. We have been using our knowledge of place value to support us with adding and subtracting mentally.
In English, we have read and created work around ‘Dr Xargle’s Book of Earth Hounds’ and ‘Flotsam’ which was a whole school focus.
In science, we have been classifying living things. We have learnt about the seven life processes and have also been to our forest school area to identify and classify invertebrates.
