We have settled into the new school year amazingly. We enjoyed looking at the whole school book of ‘Flotsam’. The word ‘flotsam’ means something found floating in the sea. In the book a boy finds an underwater camera washed up on the shore. He takes the camera to a shop to get the photos developed and finds photos of robot fish, aliens under water, giant starfish and much more! We created our own surreal pictures inspired by the photos in the book and then write vivid descriptions of our pictures.
