What a great start to Year 6 we have had!
We have enjoyed our ‘Love That Book’ in conjunction with the whole school: Flotsam by David Wiesner and produced some lovely writing and art inspired by it.
We have also enjoyed European Day of Languages on September 26th and focussed on Germany. We did some dictionary work, found out about key German cities, listened to and perfumed a song in assembly and made our own back to school Schultüte (cones) with good wishes for the year.
Finally, we are well in the swing of preparing for Harvest; we are pleased to welcome this event back and have enjoyed writing our letters and are getting ready to put on a great event for our guests.
What a busy start but everyone has settled in very well. Great job everyone!
