Before half term we celebrated ‘find your brave day’ to help raise awareness of mental health and to celebrate our bravery. We talked about when we have been brave and how we can take small brave steps every day.
In English, we have been learning about the story of Little Red Riding Hood. We have sequenced the story and acted it out using masks for each character. We have written letters to the woodcutter from the wolf, asking him to let us come back to the forest and we have used questions to interview the wolf about his actions. We have worked on trying to remember to use capital letters to start our sentences and question marks to show the end of a question.
In Maths we have explored sequences and recapped our knowledge of the days of the week, months and seasons. We really enjoyed learning and singing songs to help us remember the order.
