November 2019 in Year 3

This month, the children have enjoyed a range of different activities to support their knowledge and understanding.

The class took part in the Sportshall Festival and enjoyed taking part in a range of different sporting activities. We got to practice our throwing and catching skills, work on pacing ourselves and our running skills. We then took part in the Pudsey Skipping Challenge and although we did not win, everyone tried their best and had fun.

We had our final Forest School session of the term and we created some Christmas decorations. We spent the afternoon creating stars, snowflakes and glittery leaves. Whilst these were meant to be for the church tree, we loved them so much we took them home. Luckily, we made some more the next day and the church also got to enjoy what we made.

We finished the month with Decorations Day. We celebrated Christmas in style, making all sorts of decorations and work for the display. It was nice for us all to mix up with children in other classes and we got to make so many interesting things.
