What a lovely start back we have had to school and our new class in Year ¾. We have really enjoyed getting to spend time with each other, building friendships and knowledge together. It has been a whirlwind of a month in our class and we have all adapted really well to the changes that have been made in school.
We have settled back into our routines well and are enjoying being ‘soaped’ or ‘anti-baced’ (excuse the spelling!). We have started a lot of interesting new topics such as the Vikings! We came back with a lot of facts already and have learnt about how they lived and how they travelled. We have also enjoyed our learning in English where we look in depth at a picture book for two weeks. We have written our own story for ‘Journey’ and are currently looking at ‘The Paper Bag Princess’.
To start our year off, we have looked at our goals for the term. We learnt about setting SMART targets and came up with our own. Many of us want to move up in our times tables or to achieve our pen licence. Here are our examples which we have put with a beautiful mosaic we coloured of a rainbow.
