September has been a really busy month in Year 4. We have been thinking about Being Me in my world in PSHE and we have been looking after our Reception buddies and helped them at lunchtime.
In Maths we have been looking at place value and using rounding to help us estimate an answer. We have enjoyed using our chrome books for TT Rockstars and using Mathsbot.
In English we began by reading The Day the Crayons Quit. We thought about feelings and learnt how to use a thesaurus to find synonyms. We have also been learning how to write a persuasive text. We have enjoyed listening to class stories and really liked The Worst Boy in the World.
Everyone has been completing some fantastic homework, models and posters about Ancient Egypt, skeletons and word searches.
In Science we have been learning all about bones and muscles. We have investigated whether tall people have longer fingers and a larger head circumference.
