October has whizzed by in Year 5!
We have been really enjoying our literacy topic of instructions and coming up with some gruesome ideas for our very own medicine. We used George’s marvellous medicine as a starting point and have medicine for flying, invisibility and jumping really high.
In maths we have continued to investigate number, including; factors, multiples and prime numbers.
Over the last few weeks on Thursday afternoons we have been linking the Rugby World Cup with Geography, English and Art by finding out about all the countries involved, creating player fact files, designing our own rugby kits and making origami rugby shirts!
In Science we have continued learning about evolution and inheritance. We have been writing biographies about Charles Darwin and completed a beak investigation!
