February was another busy month in Year 5/6 and was filled with learning! In Science we have been exploring circuits. We have investigated the conductivity of various metals and learnt how to draw scientific diagrams for circuits using conventional symbols.
In Geography we researched the positive and negative aspects of the London Greenbelt over a series of lessons. This culminated in a whole class debate on the matter.
At the end of half term we celebrated ‘Find Your Brave Day’. We enjoyed watching videos of inspirational people who have shown great bravery and explored how we can be brave in many different ways. We discussed the importance of being brave in our learning and made a beautiful display to demonstrate this!
